The Village
Filmed just outside Philadelphia in beautiful Brandywine County, we found a pristine six-hundred acre lot occupied by nothing but grassland. Working out in the open through all four seasons battling torrential rains, snow, and heat, we plowed our own roads in and built sixteen full structures: both inside and out. We had a working animal barn, our own wells, and extensive vegetable gardens. Visited one day by the late great painter, Andrew Wyeth (who lived nearby), we were honored when he stated the sets looked and felt like some of his paintings.
