Principal photography for this film took place primarily in China and Australia. Returning to Los Angeles for editing, the producers decided they needed to reshoot quite a few pivotal scenes as well as add some new ones. Large in scale and with limited time to rebuild, we set up construction in Hollywood. Working a 24/7 calendar week, Jonas Kirk and his construction team were able to accomplish the nearly impossible and erect nine intensive sets in a matter of weeks. Jon Billington, the designer for the LA portion, blended two new fantastic sets into the film.
