About Me

During my thirty+ years in the art department I have worked on more than 350 commercials and music videos, 10 films, 2 TV shows, and 1 theme park. Born and raised in Southern California I spent my youth picking fruit on our avocado and orange farms. I learned a work ethic from my father that I carry with me to this day. I know what it is to get dirty and to labor until the job gets done. This has served me well in the film business where good creative work rarely comes easy. As a husband and father I try to live by example. I'm not here to bluff anybody in this world. What you see is what you get. I am open and honest and will gladly listen to anyone with a good idea, a good story, or to a person in need. I thrive in a collaborative environment. I let my curiosity guide me to things I've never seen, tasted, or explored. I continue to look forward to life's new challenges. I have worked on numerous projects ranging from film to commercials and from music videos to art installations. I have had the good fortune to have worked with directors such as Steven Spielberg, Ridley Scott, Tony Scott, Steven Soderbergh, Rupert Sanders, David Fincher, Michael Bay, Roland Emmerich, M. Night Shyamalan, Tarsem Singh, Floria Sigasmondi, Mark Romanek, Robert Rodriguez, Tom Hooper, and Roman Coppola. I have collaborated on projects for Apple, Nike, Kodak, Coke, Mercedes, and Lancome to name a few; as well as with artists like David Bowie, Beyonce, Madonna, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Christina Aguilera, Michael and Janet Jackson, Tina Turner, REM, and Lenny Kravitz.
